ヒュプセロドーリス・ニグロストリアータ Hypselodoris nigrostriata (Eliot, 1904)

特徴

外套膜は白色から淡黄色の地色に黒色の縦縞が走る。外套膜周縁は黄色く縁取られる。ソヨカゼイロウミウシ Hypselodoris zephyra に似るが、本種は触角と二次鰓に白色の斑紋を欠く点で区別できる。

分布

インド洋西部 (タンザニアから紅海) に分布する。模式産地は東アフリカ・ザンジバル。

種小名の由来

種小名 nigrostriata はラテン語で「黒い縞のある」を意味し、外套膜の黒色縦縞に因む。

補足

原記載は Chromodoris nigrostriata Eliot, 1904 として Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London "On some nudibranchs from East Africa and Zanzibar, part IV" に発表された。日本のウミウシ図鑑およびウミウシガイドブック〈3〉で本種として紹介されている個体は触角に白色斑紋を有するため、Hypselodoris zephyra と考えられる。
