体地色は黄褐色。
触角は明るい橙色で先端は黄色。
二次鰓は黄褐色、その両側に白い突起がある。
背中と周縁に白い小さな突起がある。
和名は、 Baba, K. 1960. The genera Polycera, Palio, Greilada and Thecacera from Japan (Nudibranchia - Polyceridae). Publications of the Seto Marine Biological Laboratory 8(1):75-78, pl. 6.[N] にて提唱された。
