特徴
体長5〜15mm。体は細長く扁平で、後方が細くなる。足は明瞭な外套膜の縁を超えない。背面には低い縦走稜が並び、口幕は前方に張り出して角はわずかに突出する。触角は口幕の後ろにあり、縦褶葉をもつ。柄は細くならず。背面と足の地色は不透明白で、暗色斑がランダムに散在する。外套と足はピンクの縁取りをもつ。外套上には褐色を帯びた横帯が2本走り、その帯内では暗色斑がランダムに散在する。これらの暗帯は背面を約3区分する。背側稜は地色と同じ白で、稜間部は灰色。触角の柄は白で散在する暗色斑、暗褐色〜黒で不透明白色の斑をもつ。口幕は不透明白で暗色斑とピンクの縁取り。
分布
フィリピンおよびパプアニューギニア。模式産地は Pamilacan Island off Bohol Island, Panglao, Philippines, 6–8 m, coral plateau with fine sand。種小名の由来
原記載 (Gosliner & Fahey, 2011, p.307) の Etymology 段落は次の通り — "The specific name fasciatus is a noun in apposition, from the Latin word meaning 'band'. This is in reference to the distinguishing dark band across the notum of this species." 種小名 fasciatus はラテン語の「帯」を意味する語に由来する同格名詞で、本種の外套を横断する暗色帯にちなむ。補足
外見は D. semilunus および D. tuberculatus に似るが、外套の特徴的な横帯および歯舌・生殖器形態で区別される。References
