オキシノエ・ジョーダニ Oxynoe jordani Krug, Berriman & Á. Valdés, 2018

オキシノエ・ジョーダニとは

オーストラリア東岸の浅海に分布する小型の有殻嚢舌類で、緑色の体に整然と並ぶ黒い瞳のような青い眼状斑で見分ける。

特徴

体地色は緑色。体表には青色の水玉模様が散らばり、その水玉の中心には小さな黒点があって、瞳のような眼状斑をなす。緑藻のビャクシンヅタ Caulerpa cupressoides を宿主とする。

分布

原記載時はオーストラリア・ロード・ハウ島から得られた個体に基づき記載された。

種小名の由来

種小名 jordani は、2011 年のクイーンズランド洪水（オーストラリア・トゥーンバ）の際に弟を助けるため自らの命を犠牲にした 13 歳の少年ジョーダン・ルーカス・ライスへの献名。
