コリュフェリナ・ポエニキア Coryphellina poenicia (Burn, 1957)

特徴

体長 23 mm に達する細身のミノウミウシ類。体地色は淡い藤色で、触角の前方に左右 2 つの鮮やかな紫色の斑紋をもつ。触角は前縁が平滑、後縁に 8〜12 列の細かな小顆粒が並び、基部は藤色、顆粒面は薄緑色、先端は黄色を呈する。口触手はきわめて長く細い。背側突起は片側に 7 群を成して並び、各群の本数は前方から 4・4・3・3・3・2・1 で 1 列状。背側突起は長く先端が鋭く尖り、先端付近は透明に近く、本体は鮮やかな赤色で先端は黄色。腹足は細く、前角はごく短い触手状をなす。

分布

オーストラリア南東部。模式産地はビクトリア州ブリームリー (1956 年 10 月採集)。

種小名の由来

種小名 poenicia はラテン語の poenicius「フェニキア紫の、緋色の」の女性形で、背側突起の鮮やかな透明赤色にちなむ。

補足

原記載では「peonicia」と綴られていたが、ラテン語の正則形 poenicia が現行の有効表記として採用されている。
