ヒメイバラウミウシ Okenia plana Baba 1960

特徴

体地色は半透明の白色から黄白色。
背面には褐色の細点と、白色から黄白色の斑紋が入る。
外套上には指状突起が2列入る。指状突起は二次鰓の前方にも1つある。
指状突起には褐色や白色の細点が入る。
触角は後方にのみヒダ状突起がある。
浅所の転石下に潜む。
学名読みはオケニア・プラナ。
体長10mmに達する。

分布

香港、日本、インドネシア、フィリピン、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、西アメリカ

和名

和名は、Baba K. (1960) The genera Okenia, Goniodoridella and Goniodoris from Japan (Nudibranchia Goniodorididae). Publications of the Seto Marine Biological Laboratory 8(1): 79-83. にて提唱された。

補足

オケニア・エオリダ Okenia eolida (Quoy & Gaimard, 1832) と同種である可能性が示されている (Valdés & Fahey, 2006) が、ゴスライナーらはそれを支持していない。
