体地色は半透明の白色。
外套膜最外周のやや内側に黄色の斑紋が連なって入る。
背面には紫色の斑紋が散在する。
触角と二次鰓は白色。
シララは紀伊半島の白良から命名された。
Glossodoris shirarae Baba, 1953 は異名。
40mmに達するとされる。
観察地:オーストラリア、フィリピン、ニューカレドニア、日本
和名は、Baba, K. 1953. Three new species and two new records of the genus Glossodoris from Japan. Publications of the Seto Marine Biological Laboratory 3(2):205-211. にて提唱された。
